LTE enabled smart BLE Gateway is compatible with BLE 5.0, designed for various tracking and locating applications and comes with POE or DC power supply. Gateway can be easily managed through remote access, receives data sent by BLE supported devices and sends it to server. The Wi-Fi data rate can be up to 580Mbps and BLE data rate can be up to 2Mbps. Gateway can also support the POE switch power supply and 5V / 36V adapter power supply, optional 4G LTE is also available

  • Bluetooth Low Energy Gateway supports TCP/IP, UDP protocol, and can support the MQTT, LWM2M protocol. Gateway supports WiFi or LTE as an option. Gateway is also designed to work as Bridge, AP client or Gateway

When people think about IoT sensors they tend to envisage, for experimenters, discrete electronic components connected to single board computers (SBC) or for industrial, custom sensors connected to microcontrollers.The problem for experimenters is the solution is fragile and needs to be evolved into a custom electronic design before it can be used in production. For industrial solutions, they tend to be proprietary, require deeply invasive installation and very expensive

LoRaWan Gateway

Gateway collects advertising data from iBeacon, Eddystone, Bluetooth LE sensor and other Bluetooth LE devices and then sends it to your server by HTTP(S) or MQTT using WiFi or Ethernet. A RGB LED strip shows the status (starting/started/not-connected/connected) and can be turned off via settings.

  • The gateway is based on the Mediatek MT7628 580MHz, max 256M bytes DDR2 RAM and max 64M Flash. It runs OpenWrt Linux distribution for embedded devices. The Bluetooth LE part uses the Nordic nRF52832 / nRF52840 + (Long Range). This configuration provides concurrent scanning and processing up to 200 Bluetooth devices per second. The maximum range is 400 meters in open space but this depends more on the range of beacons being detected.
  • The gateway has one USB 2.0 and Type-c and Host Connectors an on/off push switch and is powered by Micro-USB or PoE. It uses 340mA or 290mA if the leds are turned off.
  • Configuration is via a web interface hosted within the gateway. The configurable data collection settings include the upload method (HTTP(S) or MQTT), server URL, upload interval, upload data type (JSON or binary), RSSI filter, Bluetooth name filter, MAC address filter (RegEx), the cache time when disconnected (0-60 secs), whether to upload duplicates, whether to upload (each of iBeacon, S1, Unknown) and a whitelist for specific MAC addresses.
